The Katsina State Police Command held a decoration ceremony on Monday for 181 officers recently elevated to new ranks. The event, presided over by the state’s Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Musa, took place at the Command Headquarters in Katsina.
CP Musa congratulated the newly promoted officers on their well-deserved advancements and urged them to maintain professionalism, dedication, integrity, and transparency in their duties. He also encouraged the families and friends of the officers to continue supporting them in their service to the nation.
“I extend my gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission for recognizing the efforts of these officers and granting them this promotion,” CP Musa stated.
Speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, Assistant Commissioner of Police Aminu Abdulkarim expressed appreciation to the IGP and the Police Service Commission for the recognition. He pledged the officers’ commitment to serving the nation with renewed dedication and thanked CP Musa for his mentorship and support, which he credited as instrumental in their career progression.
The ceremony was attended by senior police officials, family members, and friends, who gathered to celebrate the officers’ achievements.
