Victor Osimhen will begin on the bench for Tuesday’s African Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Rwanda, taking place in Kigali.

Coach Austin Eguavoen has made just one change from the team that secured a win against Benin Republic on Saturday, as the Super Eagles seek to extend their strong start to the qualifiers at Amahoro Stadium.

Osimhen, who netted Nigeria’s second goal just eight minutes after coming on in the 3-0 victory over Benin in Uyo, has not yet earned the starting role from Eguavoen.

Instead, Victor Boniface will start in attack, joining Ademola Lookman—who scored twice against Benin—and Samuel Chukwueze.

In midfield, Lazio’s Tom Dele-Basiru replaces Fulham’s Alex Iwobi, who had a quiet performance in the previous match.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 2 PM.

Starting XI: Stanley Nwabali, Troost Ekong, Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Wilfred Ndidi, Fisayo Dele-Basiru, Bruno Onyemaechi, Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Boniface.
