Akwa Ibom State Government Announces Realignment and Creation of Ministries

The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced changes to its public service structure to support the ARISE Agenda of the current administration. Governor Umo Eno has approved the realignment of several ministries and the creation of a new ministry.

Realigned Ministries:

• Ministry of Sports
• Ministry of Youth Development
• Ministry of Science and Digital Economy

New Ministry:

• Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs

The Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, has urged all relevant officials to ensure that this information is widely shared and strictly followed.
