Bobrisky’s Lawyer Responds After House of Reps Inquires About His Client’s Whereabouts

The legal representative for Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has addressed inquiries regarding his client’s absence.

In a video shared on the official X handle of THE CABLE on Monday, Bobrisky’s lawyer was questioned by a committee on his client’s whereabouts.

When asked, “Legal counsel, can you tell us why Mr. Idris is not here?” the lawyer explained that Bobrisky was unable to attend due to illness. He further noted that he had traveled from Lagos to represent Bobrisky and show respect to the committee on his client’s behalf.

The lawyer stated, “First of all, I apologize for the absence of my client, but I would like to note for the record that he is currently unwell. Mr. Okuneye Idris is absent due to health concerns. I came from Lagos this morning to represent him and show respect to the committee.”
