Breaking: Tinubu Appoints Bwala as Special Adviser and Announces Three New Directors-General

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Daniel Bwala, the former spokesperson for the 2023 presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, as his Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications within the State House.

The announcement, delivered by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, also included the appointment of three new directors-general for key national agencies.

The appointees are as follows:

  • Olawale Olopade: Appointed as the Director-General of the National Sports Commission, Olopade brings significant experience from his previous role as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ogun State and as the chair of the organizing committee for the 2024 National Sports Festival.
  • Dr. Abisoye Fagade: Now heading the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, Fagade is an accomplished marketing and communications professional and the founder and managing director of Sodium Brand Solutions.
  • Dr. Adebowale Adedokun: Taking the role of Director-General at the Bureau of Public Procurement, Adedokun formerly served as Director of Research, Training, and Strategic Planning at the bureau.

Daniel Bwala, a respected lawyer and public affairs commentator, joins the team as a Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications.

President Tinubu has called on these newly appointed officials to perform their duties with commitment, a strong sense of patriotism, and a drive for excellence.
