Police in Toronto, Canada, have arrested a Nigerian woman named Amaka Sunnberger. She was taken into custody after a video surfaced online, where she threatened to harm Nigerians of Yoruba and Benin descent.

Amaka Sunnberger was arrested on Sunday, September 1, 2024, following the circulation of the video. The police have confirmed that she has been charged with making threats.

She is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Monday, September 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM in courtroom 107.

The authorities are treating this case as a possible hate-motivated offense and are continuing their investigation.
