Just hours before news of his breakup with Zoë Kravitz went public, Channing Tatum shared a post on Instagram about their upcoming film collaboration, Alpha Gang, directed by the Zellner brothers. Tatum’s Instagram Story featured a screenshot from a Deadline article on the film, originally shared by co-star Dave Bautista.
According to the article, the Alpha Gang cast includes Bautista, 55, Kravitz, 35, and Tatum, 44, along with Cate Blanchett, who will also produce, as well as Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux, and Riley Keough. Tatum added no caption to the post, but Bautista shared it on his main feed, writing: “Alpha Gang follows alien invaders disguised as a ruthless 1950s biker gang sent to conquer Earth—until emotions derail their mission.” He added, “Thrilled to join this project with the Zellner brothers and an out-of-this-world cast. Get ready for something epic! #AlphaGang.”
On Tuesday, sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Kravitz and Tatum had ended their three-year relationship. The two first sparked dating rumors in early 2021 after Kravitz cast Tatum in her film Blink Twice, with PEOPLE confirming their romance in September that year. By October 2023, they were reported to be engaged.

Kravitz’s father, musician Lenny Kravitz, responded to their engagement news in January, telling Entertainment Tonight, “When your family is happy, when your child is happy, that’s it—I’ve done well. Blessed.”
In July, Tatum spoke to PEOPLE about working with Kravitz on Blink Twice, saying it was one of his most challenging projects but that she made it worthwhile. “When you can look across the room or the set and know that you have the best person next to you, trying to solve problems, and you’re looking to them for answers just as much as you’re trying to solve them yourself—that is unbelievable,” he said.

Kravitz shared similar feelings in August, expressing her desire for more collaborations with Tatum. “I hope so. I mean, I think that art is our love language. It’s what we love, and we love talking about it, experiencing it, and supporting each other,” she told PEOPLE.
