$DOGS Telegram Bot Credits User Wallets with Tokens Following Airdrop
The $DOGS token, a new memecoin tied to the Telegram community, has successfully credited user wallets following a widely anticipated airdrop. This development has created a buzz in the crypto community, as the project is built around rewarding Telegram users based on the age and activity of their accounts.
The airdrop, which concluded on August 14, 2024, allowed users to claim their $DOGS tokens via a dedicated Telegram bot. According to reports, over 42.2 million users were eligible for the airdrop, with the average user receiving around 9,500 $DOGS tokens(Gate.io). The tokens were distributed based on various factors, including account age and participation in community activities.
Following the airdrop, the $DOGS tokens were credited to users’ Telegram wallets, and those who chose to do so could withdraw their tokens to centralized exchanges like Binance, Bybit, OKX, Gate.io, and Bitget. As of August 26, 2024, users can also withdraw their tokens to non-custodial wallets(TechNext24).
The $DOGS token is expected to be listed on major crypto exchanges, including Binance, where it has already been incorporated into the Binance Launchpool. This platform allows users to earn new tokens by locking existing assets, further enhancing the token’s visibility and potential for trading(TechNext24).
The project has gained significant traction within the Telegram community, with over 50 million users engaging with the $DOGS mini-app. The token’s listing is set to take place later today, marking a key milestone in its journey(Gate.io).
This development represents a unique integration of Web3 technology with the popular messaging platform Telegram, showcasing the potential for social media-based blockchain projects.
