EFCC Arrests 44 Suspected Yahoo Boys in Kwara, Recovers Exotic Cars and Juju
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 44 suspected internet fraudsters, commonly known as yahoo boys, in Kwara State. The arrests were made by the Ilorin Zonal Directorate of the EFCC at various locations across the state.
According to the EFCC, the suspects were apprehended during a coordinated operation in Ilorin. The crackdown targeted individuals involved in internet fraud, and a variety of items were seized during the raids.
Among the items recovered were exotic cars, charms (juju), and other materials suspected to be linked to fraudulent activities. The EFCC believes these items were used to carry out illegal online schemes.
