Gunmen Attack Innoson Showroom in Anambra, Abduct Three Persons

The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed an attack by gunmen on the motorcycle showroom of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing in Nnewi, Anambra State, resulting in the abduction of three individuals.
According to the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening at around 6:45 pm at the showroom located along Owerri Road in Nnewi.
In a statement issued from Awka, the state capital, Ikenga disclosed that the police, in collaboration with other security forces, had launched an offensive operation aimed at rescuing the abducted individuals and apprehending the perpetrators.
“The Command is determined and already working with information obtained from the scene for ongoing rescue operations,” Ikenga stated.
He further appealed to the public for assistance, urging anyone with valuable information about the incident to report to the Command headquarters in Awka or the nearest police station.
The attack underscores the ongoing security challenges in parts of southeastern Nigeria, where such incidents have disrupted economic and social activities. Authorities continue efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.
