He Slapped Me and Ordered Me to Undress. I Tried to Escape, but the Door Was Locked – Victim

A man named Joseph Efe has been arrested following a viral video in which he was seen binding a partially unclothed woman with tape at the Top View Hotel in Abuja.

The victim, who is reportedly a sex worker, shared her traumatic account of the incident.

According to PM News, the woman explained that she met Efe months ago on a hookup platform. She revealed that while she is originally from Enugu, she frequently travels to Abuja for business.

On the day of the incident, the victim had arranged to meet Efe at the hotel. Upon arrival, she said. Efe’s demeanor became threatening.

She recalled, “When I arrived, he asked if I was afraid of dying. He told me that if I cooperated, he wouldn’t hurt me like he kad kurt others.”

“I begged him.” she continued, “but ke slapped me and demanded I take off my clothes. I tried to run for the door, but he had already locked it and kept the keys.”

The video of Ife restraining the woman sparked speculation on social media, with many believing he intended to harm her for ritualistic purposes.

Efe, however, has denied these claims. While being presented to the public by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Abuja, he insisted that he is only a thief. not a ritualist, and has never taken a life.
