The investigative panel assigned to look into allegations regarding cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, commonly known as Bobrisky, has concluded its report, stating that the claims suggesting he avoided jail while serving a six-month prison sentence are unfounded.
Uju Agomoh, the Executive Director and founder of Prisoners’ Rehabilitation and Welfare Action (PRAWA) and a member of the panel, stated that there is no evidence supporting the allegation that Bobrisky was kept out of the custodial facility during his sentence from April 12, 2024, to August 5, 2024.
“The panel found no evidence indicating that Mr. Okuneye spent any nights outside the custodial center during his imprisonment,” Agomoh explained.
She further noted that Bobrisky did complete his six-month correctional sentence, benefiting from the standard remission typically granted in such cases.
