Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate for the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 general elections, as he marks his 68th birthday.
In a message released on Monday, Governor Yusuf praised Kwankwaso’s exemplary leadership and significant political influence that resonates throughout Nigeria.
The governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature, noted Kwankwaso’s role as a mentor and principal figure who has cultivated numerous leaders across various fields.
Yusuf expressed, “Throughout the 38 years I have known and collaborated with you, I have learned invaluable life lessons and gained rich experiences. You exemplify honesty, dedication, and a commitment to serving the people.
“Your political philosophy has positively impacted communities, inspired emerging leaders, and made significant contributions to society. You are undeniably a formidable figure in Nigerian politics and a master of Northern political dynamics.
“Over the years, you have held numerous esteemed positions, including Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Governor of Kano State, Minister of Defence, Special Envoy to Darfur and Somalia, Senator of the Federal Republic, and the presidential candidate for our esteemed party, the NNPP, in the 2023 elections.
“On behalf of myself, my family, the government, and the people of Kano State, I wish you many more years of dedicated service to humanity in Nigeria and beyond,” the statement concluded.
