NSCDC arrests 32-year-old job scammer in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano has arrested a 32-year-old man accused of a job scam. The suspect, Mu’azu Mohammed Ibrahim, is alleged to have defrauded individuals of their money by falsely offering jobs in Kano State government ministries. According to Ibrahim Abdullahi, the command’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim was apprehended after an extensive investigation that followed numerous complaints from victims, mostly women, who lost over N1.2 million. The scam involved Ibrahim pretending to be a high-ranking government official capable of securing employment for his victims in various government departments.
