Dr. Allen Onyema, Vice President of the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON), has reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing the aviation industry while urging stakeholders to unite in addressing the challenges faced by Nigerian airlines.
Speaking in Abuja, Onyema made this statement after receiving the 2024 Aviation Industry Trailblazer for the Decade award. The accolade was presented by Ali Yu Ibrahim, Director of Corporate Services at the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), who acknowledged Onyema’s remarkable contributions to the sector.
Onyema has been a driving force in transforming Nigeria’s aviation landscape, earning recognition for his efforts to improve air travel safety, accessibility, and customer experience across Africa. Under his leadership, Air Peace has risen to prominence as a leading airline in West Africa, setting standards for operational efficiency and excellence.
Expressing his appreciation for the honor, Onyema emphasized that the award reflected the collective efforts and resilience of his team.
