Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, widely known as Igwe2pac, is preparing to tie the knot with his fiancée.
The actor, who also goes by “Phenomenal” and has two children from prior relationships, shared the exciting news on his Instagram account today, November 5, 2024.
Posting heartwarming photos with his fiancée, Okocha introduced the wedding hashtag #MICHARLES2024, confirming that the ceremony will happen within the year.
This announcement comes as a surprise to many, considering Okocha’s earlier reservations about marriage. In a previous interview, he voiced concerns about the rising divorce rate, saying, “People you look up to are getting divorced… how do you want me to get into this marriage thing?”
Reflecting on his stance, he added, “I have never been married, and I am a happy man. You and I know what’s happening these days – couples married for a few years suddenly end up divorced. When you see people you admire facing that, you start to wonder, ‘How am I supposed to enter into marriage?’”
