In a strategic move aimed at enhancing diversity and promoting national cohesion in university management, President Bola Tinubu has approved a leadership reshuffle involving the Federal University Oye-Ekiti and the Federal University Lokoja.

A statement issued on Wednesday by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, announced the changes. Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN, who previously served as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council at the Federal University Lokoja, has been reassigned to the Federal University Oye-Ekiti.

Meanwhile, Engineer Kayode Ojo, who held the corresponding role at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, will now take on the position at the Federal University Lokoja.

The statement emphasized that the decision reflects the President’s commitment to fostering unity and balanced representation within the leadership of Nigeria’s higher education institutions.
