Saskay Expresses Interest in ‘Bad Girl’ Roles to Challenge Her Acting Skills

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tsakute Jonah, popularly known as Saskay, is making strides as a social media influencer and emerging actress. In a recent interview with Potpourri, Saskay shared her aspirations in the film industry and the kinds of roles she hopes to explore.

“I want to work with people who focus on producing quality content. I’m not in it just for the fame that comes with acting; I want to take on roles that resonate with the audience,” Saskay said. “I’m looking for characters that will push me to sit down, study, and truly immerse myself in them, roles that demand my full dedication.”

She expressed a preference for stepping out of her comfort zone, explaining, “I don’t want to just read a script and show up on set. I want roles that challenge me and allow me to grow beyond who I am.”

When asked about her dream role, Saskay revealed her interest in portraying more dynamic and unconventional characters. “I really want to play a bad girl role. In the few movies I’ve done, I’ve been cast in mellow roles, often as a young, quiet teenager. I want to do something livelier, more bubbly—something that contrasts with who I actually am. Imagine me playing a party girl or a wild character. It’s rare to see, but I’d love to take on that challenge.”
