Scholarships and bursaries were also awarded to over 500 students.

A statement from Anietie Ekong, Special Assistant to the Senate President on Media/Communication, highlighted that traditional rulers from the district received empowerment packages, with each of the 10 Paramount Rulers receiving a sports utility vehicle.
