Actress Shaffy Bello has shared her concerns about the influence of technology on today’s younger generation.
During a recent appearance on Tope Olowoniyan’s talk show, Bello highlighted the dual nature of technology. While acknowledging its advantages, she warned that it can be harmful if misused.
“The younger generation is missing out on a lot of aspects. Technology, which is meant to make life easier and solve problems, is also leading them astray if not handled with care,” Bello remarked.
As a mother to a 28-year-old daughter and a 26-year-old son, Bello admitted that while she may not fully grasp the struggles faced by today’s youth, she does have some understanding.
She pointed out that growing up in today’s world presents unique challenges that were not present when she was younger.
Reflecting on her own life experiences, Bello shared how she had her daughter at 26 and faced challenges that were different from those young people face now.
“It’s far more challenging to live in today’s world than it was for us. Life was tougher for us back then. I had my daughter at 26,” she emphasized.
