Tinubu to Meet Chinese President in Beijing
President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to meet with the President of China during a visit to Beijing in early September, according to presidential spokesman Chief Ajuri Ngelale.
Although the exact date of the visit has not been announced, Ngelale confirmed that President Tinubu will hold several important meetings, including discussions with the Chinese President and CEOs from 10 major corporations to boost Nigeria’s economy.
During the visit, President Tinubu will also sign bilateral agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at strengthening cooperation in various areas, such as the green economy, blue economic development, and national planning.
Additionally, the meetings will cover national, regional, and international security issues, along with discussions on completing the Abuja-Ibadan segment of the Lagos-Kaduna standard railway.
Other key topics on the agenda include advancements in information technology, refining, oil and gas, and satellite technology
